Service Project
Helping Henry County Fight Hunger!

On Friday, May 17th  Henry County Rotary Club put what we learned during a tour and info. session at Helping in His Name Ministries - Food Pantry into action and took time to volunteer.  Director Tim Engelbracht did an excellent job educating us on what the food pantry is all about, who they serve and what their greatest needs are.  The food pantry serves an average  of 1000 families per month and that number is increasing with more families in need here in Henry county.  The pantry could use support in the  following areas:
1. Food Donations
2. Volunteer time to work at the Food Pantry
3. Donate financially - this is the greatest need they have.

The food pantry is available to Henry County Residents Monday - Friday by Appointment.

Thanks to Business' Serving our Community We can Fight Huger Together

Thank you to Tim Engelbracht, Director of Helping in His Name Ministries, the “Food Pantry” for taking time to host The Henry County Rotary Club this past Monday. Tim did an excellent job educating us on what the food pantry is all about, who they serve and what their greatest needs are.  The food pantry serves an average  of 1000 families per month and that number is increasing.  Please consider supporting the Food Pantry in one of these 3 ways.
1. Food Donations
2. Volunteer your time to work at the Food Pantry
3. Donate financially - this is the greatest need they have.

The food pantry is available to Henry County Residents Monday - Friday by Appointment.

Visit from Senator Brian Strickland

Thank you to Senator Brian Strickland for spending time with Henry County Rotary Club on Monday and providing a recap from the most recent legislative session.  It’s always good to hear that Georgia is known as the best state to do business in.  Senator Strickland also explained some of the work he is most proud of involves bills to care for those disabled and or suffering with mental health issues, causes we can all relate to. Thank you for all you are doing for Georgia and Henry County Senator.
